INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- AT&T Messages Backup & Sync stores your text and picture messages in the AT&T cloud and syncs them to your supported smartphone. To access, tap the AT&T Folder on the second homescreen.
Note: With AT&T Messages Backup & Sync you can download messages stored in the AT&T cloud to a smartphone that supports Messages Backup & Sync. You can also access your messages and send or receive messages using your mobile number from your tablet or computer at messages.att.net. To learn more, visit AT&T Messages Backup & Sync.
- Tap Messages.
- AT&T Messages needs to be your default SMS app to work. Tap Set as default.
- Tap Yes.
- Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, then tap Accept.
- Tap Exit.
- You will receive a text message when setup is complete. Your text and picture messages will now automatically back up on the AT&T cloud for up to 90 days.
