- Download the update via Firmware Over the Air (FOTA)
- Connect your AT&T Wireless Internet (IFWA40) to the AT&T data network to download the update.

Troubleshoot software update
- Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi®.
- Connect your AT&T Wireless Internet (IFWA40) to your computer or Wi-Fi-enabled device by Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
- Open a web browser and go to http://att.wirelessinternet.
- Enter your Login, then click LOGIN.
Your login can be found on the bottom of your AT&T Wireless Internet. - Select the Messages tab to view software updates.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs
- Connect your AT&T Wireless Internet (IFWA40) to your computer or Wi-Fi-enabled device by Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
- Open a web browser and go to http://att.wirelessinternet.
- Enter your Login, then click LOGIN.
Your login can be found on the bottom of your AT&T Wireless Internet. - Select the Status tab to view the device's Software/Firmware Versions.

- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device or services.
