Software update for the LG G8 (LM-G820UM)

Update software

1. Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
2. Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select General, then About Phone.
4. Select Software update.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
6. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Verify software update

1. Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
2. Select General.
3. Scroll to and select About phone, then Software information.
4. If the Build number and Software version don’t match the current update details; perform additional updates until they do.
