Enhanced Push-to-Talk (EPTT)

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Setup Push-to-Talk

• Use Push-to-Talk

• Switch channels

Setup Push-to-Talk

Upon turning your device on for the first time or after a factory rest, you will be prompted to setup Push-to-Talk ( PTT). Press the Rotary knob to activate PTT. The device will take a few moments to setup the configuration.

Note: Before setting up your device, make sure you have completed the online activation process. Please visit Activate phone, SIM card, or other device for more information. For more information about inserting a sim card, please visit the Device Assembly tutorial. 

Use Push-to-Talk

Press the PTT button on the left side of the device. 

From the desired channel, press and hold the PTT button and talk into the speaker on the front of the device.

Note: When you are speaking, the device will say You on the screen.

Switch channels

To switch channels, press the PTT button to access the call channels, then turn the Rotary knob to the desired channel.
