Set up the SOS button

1. Press the Rotary knob to access settings.

2. Turn the Rotary knob to SOS, then press the Rotary knob to select. 

4. PTT SOS is enabled by default. To switch to Emergency SMS mode,  press the Rotary knob to select.

Note: When using PTT SOS, the SOS button is assigned to the PTT app. For this tutorial, PTT SOS is used. If using Emergency SMS mode, you will need to enter the emergency contact numbers and SMS message. To enter the Emergency contact numbers, from the SOS Emergency SMS options menu, turn the Rotary knob to SOS Numbers then press the Rotary knob to select. Enter the three emergency contact numbers as desired. When finished, turn the Rotary knob to Back then press the Rotary knob to select. To enter an emergency SMS message, turn the Rotary knob to Text Message, then press the Rotary knob to select. Enter the desired message.  When finished, turn the Rotary knob to highlight the checkmark icon then press the Rotary knob to select.

Press and hold the SOS button located on the right side of the device.
