  • You can download the update via Google Over the Air (GOTA).
  • You must connect your device to Wi-Fi® to download the update.
  • Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to an SD card, a computer, or using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software.

  1. Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. From the System Screen, select System update.
  3. The device will check for updates automatically.
 

Verify software update

  1. Press the Watch Crown to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the Settings app.
  2. Scroll to and select System, then scroll to and select About.
  3. Scroll to and select Versions.
  4. If the Android and Baseband versions don’t match the current update; perform additional updates until they do.
