Software Version

Determine your current device software version and check for updates.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. VIEW SOFTWARE VERSION: Swipe down from Notification bar, then select the Settings icon.

    Note: The images and steps in this tutorial reflect the latest software Android version 9. For more information on the latest update available for your device, check att.com/softwareupdates.

    Step 1

  2. Scroll to and select About phone.

    Step 2

  3. Select Software information. Android version and Baseband version will be displayed.

  4. CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES: From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Software update.

  5. Select Check for updates.

    Step 5

  6. Select OK. If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts.
