Audi and AT&T steer the connected car from design to reality
When customers go shopping for a new car, they want performance under the hood and connectivity with the world around them. Audi handled the first task handily with the stylish A3 family of models. The automaker worked closely with AT&T to develop a truly connected car. With features like picture navigation – which displays a street image view of the destination – this is one smart car. AT&T is also working with the Intelligent Transportation Society of America to identify opportunities to deliver social and environmental benefits through connected car technology.
“Automobile manufacturers truly appreciate that AT&T is giving them a global solution — a solution that is flexible to meet their needs and drive innovation for them and their customers.“ – Chris Penrose, Senior Vice President, Internet of Things, AT&T Mobility
