AT&T Static IP is useful for consumers and many small businesses who have minor needs such as:
- Host a web, mail or FTP server
- Access a corporate network remotely
- Host a Webcam for video streaming
- Use some Video Conferencing applications
AT&T Static IP is not intended for businesses that have robust, complex networking needs. For example, router and firewall devices cannot allocate static IP addresses.
