Manage the wireless number for your user ID

Have you assigned an AT&T wireless number to your user ID? You can use it to sign in to your account or for things like NumberSync pairing.

See if there's is number assigned to your ID

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Scroll to Sign-in info and look for Recovery phone number. If you see a number there, you have a wireless number assigned to your ID.

Assign, change, or remove the wireless number for your ID

You can only assign your wireless number to one user ID. If your number is already assigned to an ID, you must delete it from that ID before you can assign it to a different ID. The assigned number must be an AT&T wireless number.
  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Scroll to Sign-in info.
  3. Select Edit or Remove for your Recovery phone
  4. Edit your details:
  • If assigning or changing a number, enter the verification code sent to the number.
  • If removing a number, follow the prompts.

       5 . Save your changes
