Use AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots to connect your mobile device or laptop to high-speed internet. You can find them in public places like coffee shops, airports, and restaurants. They’re available nationwide. It’s easy to identify AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots. Just look for the Wi-Fi^® name attwifi. Most AT&T devices will connect automatically when your Wi-Fi is turned on.

1. Turn on your Wi-Fi
2. Select att-wifi or attwifi from the list of available networks. 

• Your Wi-Fi usage doesn't count against your plan data.
• Have VPN software? Connect to your VPN as you normally would after you connect to an AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot. Be sure to follow these standard security practices.
