Understand your rights as a customer in Puerto Rico

Filing a claim

If you’re an AT&T customer in Puerto Rico, you have the right to file a claim with us about all or part of your bill1. You have up to 23 days from the date the bill was sent to pay or object to the charges in the bill.

Dispute your bill

You must object to, or request an investigation of, your AT&T bill. You can:

What happens after you file a billing dispute?

­­We’ll look into your concerns and either refund or keep the disputed charges. If you don’t agree with our decision, you’ll have up to 23 days to request another review of that decision. If you fail to pay or don’t object to your bill within 23 days of the bill date, AT&T may or disconnect service for non-payment and charge a late fee.

Important: If you object to a charge, you still must pay any non-objected charges. Past-due amounts are due immediately.

How to appeal the billing decision

If you still don’t agree with our decision, or believe we failed to comply with any laws or regulations, you may request a review from the Puerto Rico Telecommunications Bureau (NET) for up to 30 days after our final decision.
