Use Call Protect to prevent unwanted calls

Block fraudulent calls, get spam call alerts, and filter your calls using Call Protect on your AT&T digital phone.



Turn Call Protect on or off

Call Protect for AT&T Phone – Advanced1 is automatically turned on. You have to turn on Call Portect for AT&T Phone.2

  1. Go to the AT&T phone portal. Sign in with your member ID.
  2. Choose Features, then Call filtering.
  3. Select Call Protect.
  4. Read and accept the Call Protect Terms & Conditions.
  5. Slide the Call Protect toggle to turn it On or Off.
  6. Select Save.

Good to know: Want to automatically block calls that have been reported as fraudulent? Select Manage Call Protect and make sure the Fraud Auto-block toggle is On.

Save a copy of your call history

If you’re changing your AT&T Phone service to AT&T Phone – Advanced (or vice versa), your call history doesn’t automatically save or transfer over.

You can save a copy before you change digital phone services. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the AT&T phone portal. Sign in with your member ID.
  2. Select Call History and then Download Call History.
  3. Choose the file format (XLS, CSV, or PDF).
  4. Select Download.

Delete Call Protect history

To delete your Call Protect call history (up to 30 days of call logs), select the Clear history link found before your list of calls. Then confirm you want to permanently delete your call history.
