Battery backup for Wi-Fi gateway

An AT&T Wi-Fi^® gateway wirelessly connects devices like smartphones, laptops, and tablets to the Internet. It’s setup inside your home and plugged into a regular household electrical outlet. It also connects your digital phone service.

To keep your phone service during a power outage, you need a battery backup for your gateway. If your home requires more than one device (for example, both a Wi-Fi gateway and an ONT), you need a battery backup for each piece of equipment. Your equipment may use internal or external battery backups. 

Battery backups start around $39. The price varies based on how long the battery provides backup power. The listed batteries meet general power specifications for your gateway. Check with the manufacturer for additional pricing and specifications.

With new gateways coming out, replacement batteries for older equipment might not be available. Have your retailer make sure the replacement battery backup works with your equipment.
