Block calls from specific phone numbers

Getting unwanted calls on your AT&T digital phone? Learn how to block calls from specific numbers and callers without caller ID.


AT&T Phone

You can add up to 100 numbers to your call block list.

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Select the Digital phone card.
  3. Choose Check or manage voicemail & features in My Voicemail & Phone features.
  4. Select Call Blocking under Call Filtering.
  5. Slide the toggle to On. (Turning off call blocking won’t delete your list of blocked numbers. You can start blocking calls from your list again at any time.)
  6. Choose Manage Call Blocking to block specific phone numbers. Enter the number you want to block in the Add Number field.
  7. Select Add and then Save. To remove a number, select X next to the number and then Save.

Tip: You can also block phone numbers from your phone’s handset. Dial *61 to add the number of the last call received to your call block list.

Block anonymous calls

You can block anonymous calls directly from your phone. Press *77 to block callers who withhold their phone numbers.

Anonymous callers will receive a message that you don’t accept calls without Caller ID info.

Change your mind? Press *87 to allow anonymous calls.

Automatically block calls from spammers and fraudsters

AT&T Phone – Advanced

You can block up to 100 numbers from ringing your phone. Here’s how

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Select the AT&T Phone – Advanced card.
  3. Choose the account and phone number that you want to block calls for.
  4. Select Phone features, and then Call Filtering.
  5. Select Call Blocking and slide the toggle to On. (Turning off call blocking won’t delete your list of blocked numbers. You can start blocking calls from your list again at any time.)
  6. Choose Manage Call Blocking to block specific phone numbers.
  7. Enter a 10-digit number and select Add, then Save. To remove a number, select X next to the number and then Save.

Tip: You can also block phone numbers from your phone’s handset. Dial *61 to add the number of the last call received to your call block list.
