- Unplug the power cord from your gateway or modem.
- Using an internal battery backup? Be sure to remove the battery.
- Have DSL service? Unplug your phone cord from your modem or gateway, too.
- Wait 20 seconds and plug the power cord back in. If applicable, reinsert the battery and reconnect the phone cord.
It may take up to 10 minutes for the gateway or modem to reboot. You’re all set when the broadband light blinks green.
