Parental Controls for U-verse TV

Set up TV Parental Controls

1. Press Menu on your U-verse TV remote control.
2. Select Options > System.
3. Scroll to Parental Controls and press OK.
4. Enter or establish your 4-digit Parental locking PIN.
5. Select Locking Options.
6. Scroll down to select the locking criteria and make your selections:
   • Adult
   • Channels
   • Purchases
   • TV ratings
   • Movie ratings
   • Time
7. Select Save, Turn off locking, or Change PIN.

Note: Parental Controls must be set for each receiver individually.

Change your TV Parental Controls PIN

1. Press Menu on your remote control.
2. Select Options > System.
3. Scroll to Parental Controls and press OK.
4. Enter your 4-digit Parental locking PIN.
5. Scroll down to Change PIN then press OK.
6. Enter a new PIN.

Manage Parental Controls with the U-verse app

1. Access the U-verse app on your mobile device.
2. Tap Settings in the navigational area. 
3. Tap Preferences > Parental Controls.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Note: The U-verse app can be found in Apple iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon app stores. It’s available at no additional charge with a qualifying U-verse TV package and a Wi-Fi or data connection. Streaming content may vary by device, TV plan, and viewing location. Also, the app user interface on various smart device screens may differ.
