Understand charges on a new combined bill

Learn how charges appear when you combine billing for AT&T Wireless, DIRECTV, U-verse TV, AT&T Internet, or AT&T Phone services.

Make sure to pay your final, pre-combined bills

If you don’t pay off your separate bills, your first combined bill total may be higher than you expect. That’s because any unpaid balances on your separate AT&T Wireless®, DIRECTV®, U-verse® TV, AT&T Internet®, or AT&T PHONE bills will carry over to your first combined bill.

Charges on your first combined bill

  • Monthly recurring charges
  • Two sets of recurring charges (the previous and next month’s charges) if you weren’t billed for your previous month’s services yet
  • Any unpaid balances from separate accounts prior to combining your bills
  • Last month’s wireless usage charges, purchases, one-time charges, surcharges and fees, and equipment charges
  • Partial-month (prorated) charges if your service isn’t for a full month

Note: Charges for wireless overage are billed after the charges are incurred.
