If you incorrectly enter your PIN, you will be given an option to enter your authentication code so that you can create a new PIN and access your mailbox.
Press
1 to enter the authentication code you selected during your initial mailbox setup. It’s an 8 digit number that may be the date of a family or friend's birthday.
Once you've entered it successfully, you'll be asked to create a new PIN.
Note: If you change your home phone voicemail PIN, you must also change your Voicemail Viewer PIN to match.
Change your Web Password or Forgotten PasswordFrom a computer- Go to www.um.att.com and sign in using your Unified Messaging email address and password.
- Select Settings at the top of the page.
- Under Security Settings, select Change Web Password.
- Enter your old password, then enter and confirm your new password.
