Create a calendar eventTo create a new calendar event, follow these steps:
- On the far left side of the calendar toolbar, select New Event. Or to quickly add a basic event, you can simply select the appropriate space in the calendar. A window will appear that allows you to add the details of your event.
- Create a name for your event.
- Select the date and time. If the event will last all day or the specific time isn't important, select All-Day.
- If the event will repeat, you can select the frequency and the timing of the events.
- In the Location field, include where the event will take place.
- To invite others to the event, type their email addresses, separated by commas, in the Invitees field. You can also add guests directly from your Contacts by selecting the plus (+) sign on the right and choosing guests from that list.
- Add any additional information in the Notes field.
- Select if you'd like a reminder and if so, when and where it should be sent.
- Select the Type of event, if you wish.
- Select Save.
Edit an eventTo edit a calendar event, follow these steps:
- Locate the event in your calendar, and select it to open the event details. If you're not sure of the event date, you can use the calendar search bar to locate any event in your calendar.
- Make the changes to your event.
- Select Save when you've finished making your changes.
Delete an eventTo delete a calendar event, follow these steps:
- Locate the event in your calendar, and select it to open the event details. If you're not sure of the event date, you can use the calendar search bar to locate any event in your calendar.
- Select Delete.
- Select Continue to confirm your choice.
