Return or exchange your wireless device

If you bought your wireless device at att.com, over the phone with AT&T, or at an AT&T branded store, you have 14 days to start your return or exchange.

We will initiate your return or exchange by emailing you a prepaid shipping label to mail your device back.

Ship it back

It’s easy to return by mail

Simply:

1. Call 800.331.0500 to request a prepaid shipping label (and choose your new device, if exchanging).

2. Pack your device and all original components in the original packaging.

3. Save the prepaid shipping label tracking number for your records and ship your device back via UPS.

4. Track your return at ups.com/track

Start the return process

Call us at 800.331.0500 or head to your closest AT&T store.

Back up your device

Ensure all your photos, videos, and contacts are backed up.

Disable your security features

Be sure to disable the Find my apps for your device and sign out of any cloud services.

Erase all your personal data

This includes contacts, photos, and videos—as well as all your passwords and user locks.

Remember the extras you want to keep

Also remove any accessories, SIM, or memory cards.

Hit reset

The final step—reset your device to its factory settings.
