AT&T Wi-Fi Connection Software and System Requirements

Getting connected just got easier. Our software scans for Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) and cellular data networks. We support Cingular® Wireless' EDGE (Enhanced Data for GSM Evolution) and GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) networks. A subscription to Cingular Wireless is required.

In addition, the integrated location finder provides information on available AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots. Support is also provided for the latest Wi-Fi security techniques such as Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA).

The AT&T Wi-Fi Connection Software is not required in order to use the AT&T Wi-Fi service, but it is highly recommended to enhance your mobile experience.

Installation Instructions

  • Wi-Fi® card (internal, PCMCIA, or USB)
