Troubleshoot your AT&T High Speed Internet service
If you are having problems with your AT&T High Speed Internet connection, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check the modem status icon on the task bar on your desktop.
Check all connections. Make sure that the telephone line connected to your DSL modem is plugged directly into the telephone jack or into the side of the filter labeled ADSL HPN.
Make sure that the filters are installed on all telephone jacks with telephone devices.
Make sure that your DSL modem is not plugged into a surge protector.
Completely shut down your computer:
From the Start menu select Shutdown.
Select the Shutdown the Computer option.
Click Yes.
Remove the telephone line from modem. Wait two minutes.
Plug the telephone line back into the modem and power up the computer. Wait two minutes.
Plug the telephone line back into the modem and power up the computer.
Try to connect.
If the connection fails, call us for additional support.
In addition, if you have newly purchased AT&T High Speed Internet and have yet to been able to establish your Internet connection, call us for additional support.
