Restart or reset your 5G Gateway

Learn how to restart your gateway or reset it to factory settings.


Restart gateway

If you’re having trouble with your network, sometimes restarting your gateway can help. Just unplug the power cord from the back of the gateway for 5 seconds. Then, plug it back in and wait for it to boot up.

You can also restart the gateway from your admin portal. From a device connected to your network:

  1. Sign in to the Internet Air web admin portal.
  2. Open System Settings and select Backup/Restore.
  3. Select Apply next to Reboot.
  4. Confirm your selection and wait for your gateway to restart.

Reset gateway from device

A factory reset erases all settings on your gateway and takes it back to it’s original state. To reset on the gateway, use a SIM tool to press and hold the Reset button on the bottom of the gateway.
