Change or Reset Voicemail Password

Reset a forgotten password or change an existing voicemail password.

To change your voicemail password, you must have already Set Up Voicemail.

1. To change your voicemail password, from the home screen select the Phone app icon Phone app then select the Menu icon Menu icon to access Settings.

 

2. From the Settings screen, select  Voicemail icon Voicemail. Select Change PIN.

3. Enter your old PIN, then select Continue.

4. Enter a new 7-15 digit PIN, then select Continue. Enter the new 7-15 digit PIN again, then select Ok to confirm.

5. Alternately, you can change your voicemail password using the voicemail interactive voice response (IVR). Select and hold the 1 key > enter your existing password > 4 key > 2 key> 1 key > 1 key > enter your new password.

Note: To change your voicemail password via the IVR, you must know your current voicemail password. If you have forgotten your existing voicemail password, you will not be able to access voicemail until you reset your voicemail password.
