Airplane Mode

Learn how to turn Airplane Mode on and off using the Quick Settings or through Settings.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Turn Airplane mode on or off from Quick Setting
• Turn Airplane mode on or off through Settings

Airplane mode will disable all wireless services on the device. Calls, data, and text messages cannot be sent or received. Disable Airplane mode to restore regular device function. 

When Airplane Mode is turned on, the Airplane mode icon will display in the Notification bar.


 

Turn Airplane mode on or off from Quick Settings

From the home screen, press the left navigation key to access Quick Settings. Press the navigation keys to highlight Airplane mode, then press the Select button to turn on or off as desired.

Turn Airplane mode on or off through Settings

1. From the home screen, press the Center Dynamic key to access the Menu. Press the navigation keys to highlight the Settings app, then press the Select button to select.

2. When Network & internet is highlighted, press the Select button. Press the navigation keys to highlight Airplane mode, then press the Select button.

3. Press the Left Dynamic Key to select OK.

4. To disable Airplane mode, from the Network & internet setting, press the Select button to select Airplane mode.
