Learn how to troubleshoot if Cell Booster GPS cannot be acquired.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
If Cell Booster GPS lock cannot be acquired within 30 minutes, the AT&T Cell Booster will default to alternate location check by looking for the closest Macro tower and use the tower location to establish Cell Booster device location.
1. If you are experiencing GPS lock connectivity issues, try connecting the included GPS antenna. Insert the gold-side of the GPS cable into the GPS port until it clicks into place. Ensure that the connection is tight.
Note: You can attach the GPS antenna to the window if one is nearby. Make sure the window is clean so that the antenna adheres securely.
2. If you do not wish to use the GPS antenna, place the device within 3 feet of a window with a clear unobstructed view of the sky.
Note: If you've done either of the following, wait 24 hours to see if GPS connectivity resolves. If the area is far from the router and you need to move the device, considering purchasing the Netgear Powerline.
