To learn more about requesting a device unlock for your AT&T mobile device so that it can operate on another compatible wireless network, visit www.att.com/deviceunlock. If your device is locked and is requesting a "PUK" code, click here for instructions on how to obtain your PUK or PUK2 code to unlock your SIM card.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Set a security lock
• Change lock type
• Change lock screen timeout
• Lock the device
• Log in using the security lock

Set a security lock

1. From the home screen, click the Start icon then click the Settings icon.

2. Click Accounts.

3. Click the Sign-in options tab. Click the desired security lock

Note: For this tutorial, Windows Hello PIN was selected.

4. Click Add, then follow the prompts to complete setup.

Change lock type

From the Sign-in options screen, click the current security lock then click Remove. Click the new desired security lock then click Add and follow prompts to complete set up.




Change lock screen timeout

1. From the Settings screen, click System.

2. Click the Power & sleep tab, then click the drop-down icon next to the desired Screen or Sleep setting.

3. Click the desired timeout option.

Lock the device

From the home screen, click the Start icon then click the Settings icon. Click Lock.

Log in using the security lock

Enter your current password or PIN.
