Device Setup

1. To begin, click the desired language then click Yes.

2. Click the desired region, then click Yes.

3. Click the desired keyboard layout, then click Yes.

4. To add a second keyboard layout, click Add layout. To continue without setting up a second keyboard layout, click Skip.

 

5. If you would like to connect to a Wi-Fi network, click the desired network then click Connect and follow the on screen prompts. When finished, click Next.

Note: To proceed without connecting to Wi-Fi, click Next.

6. Review the Windows 10 License Agreement, then click Accept.

 

7. To add your Microsoft account, enter your Email address then click Next and follow the prompts. If you do not have an account but would like to add one, click Create account.

 

8. In order to proceed, you must create a PIN to secure your device. To continue, click Create PIN.

 

9. Enter the desired PIN, then enter the PIN again to confirm. Click OK.

10. Adjust your privacy settings as desired, then click Accept.

11. Review the Customize your device prompt. Click the desired customization, then click Accept. Click Skip to proceed without customization.

12. Review the Use your Android Phone from your PC prompt, then select Remind me later to continue.

13. Review the Back up you files with OneDrive prompt, then click Next.

14. Review the Cortana prompt. Click Accept, then follow the prompts. To proceed without setting up Cortana, click Not now.
