Getting started
- Make sure you’re in the U.S. and on our wireless network.
- You can download the update via Firmware Over the Air (FOTA).
- You must connect your device to Wi-Fi® to download the update.
- Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend backing up your media files to an SD card, a computer, or using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software.
Update & verify software
Update software
- From the AT&T Manager Website at http://attmanager/ click the arrow icon beneath Settings.
- Click Software Update, then Check for software update.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
Verify software update
- The Software version is viewable under Device Info on the homepage of AT&T Manager Website at http://attmanager/.
- If the Firmware version doesn’t match the current update; perform additional updates until it does.
Troubleshoot software update
- Visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix software update issues.
- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device or services.
