Secure Folder

Secure your personal content and keep it hidden on your device.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO

A Samsung account is required to access.

SETUP SECURE FOLDER: From the home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps tray.
Select the Samsung folder.
Select the Secure Folder app.
Review the initial prompt, then select NEXT > START.
USE SECURE FOLDER: Select CONFIRM to allow Secure Folder to sign into your Samsung Account.
Select the desired folder lock type, then select NEXT.

Note: For this tutorial, Pattern was chosen.
Enter the desired Pattern, then select CONTINUE.
Enter the desired Pattern, then select CONFIRM.
ACCESS SECURE FOLDER: From the Samsung folder, select the Secure Folder app.
Enter your secure lock code.
USE SECURE FOLDER: Select Lock to lock the secure folder. Select Add apps, then select the desired apps to add to the secure folder. Select Edit apps, then select the desired app and follow the prompts to edit.
ADD FILES TO SECURE FOLDER: Select Add files.

Note: You can also add pictures from the Gallery app. Select and hold the desired picture(s) > Menu icon > Move to Secure Folder > enter your secure lock code. Pictures that have been moved to the Secure Folder are no longer visible in the regular Gallery. Select Secure Folder > Gallery to view them.
Navigate to and select the desired file(s), then select DONE.
HIDE SECURE FOLDER: Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon.
From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Security then select Secure Folder.
Select the Show Secure Folder switch, then select HIDE.
