A Google account allows you to view and download apps from the Google Play store, use Gmail, receive personalized Google Search results, and will automatically log you into other Google-based services on your device.
  1. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon.

  2. Scroll to and select Cloud and accounts, then select Accounts.

  3. Select Add account.

  4. Select Google.

  5. Enter your Email or phone number, then select Next.

    Note: If you need a Google account, select Create Account and follow the on-screen prompts, or visit https://accounts.google.com/signup.

  6. Enter your password, then select Next.

    Note: If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot password? and follow the prompts.

  7. Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy prompt, then select I agree.

    Note: Select Terms of Service or Privacy Policy to review as desired.

  8. Review the Google services prompt, then select the Back up to Google Drive switch if you wish to do so. Select ACCEPT to complete Google Sign-In.
