1. ACCESS MESSAGE SETTINGS: From the home screen, select the Messaging app. Select the Menu icon, then select Settings.

  2. ADJUST NOTIFICATION ALERTS & SOUND: Scroll to and select the Notifications checkbox to turn notifications on or off. ADJUST RINGTONE: Select Select ringtone. Select the desired ringtone, then select OK. ENABLE/DISABLE VIBRATE: Select the Vibrate checkbox to turn vibrate on or off.

  3. RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS: From Messaging settings, select the Menu icon then select Restore default settings.

  4. EMERGENCY ALERTS: From Messaging settings, select Receive emergency alerts then edit Emergency alerts as desired.

  5. VIEW SMS SERVICE CENTER NUMBER: The number will be displayed under Service Center.
