Battery Life

Tips and tricks to extend your battery performance.

This device has a Internet Usage Time of up to 9 hours, and a Standby Time of up to 79 days.
To turn on the Battery saving features of your device, swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon.
Select the GENERAL tab then select Battery.
Battery-smart features can help save your battery for what matters most. Seldom used apps go into App Standby to conserve battery. To optimize battery life select the More icon.
Select Optimize battery usage.
Select the On/Off Toggle next to the apps you would like to optimize.
You can prolong battery life with phone modes that save power. Select Power saving. Select the Power Saving mode Toggle to turn on Power saving mode.
Select the Ultra power saving mode Toggle to turn Ultra power saving mode on or off. Ultra power saving mode will conserve the most battery life.
Note: Selecting Ultra Power Saving Mode at 10% charge provides up to 24 hours of talk and text time. Based on laboratory testing. Results may vary. Battery power consumption depends on factors such as network configuration, carrier network, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, vibrate mode, backlight settings, browser use, frequency of calls, and voice, data and other application-usage patterns.
Agree to the terms and conditions and select TURN ON.
Note: To turn Ultra power saving mode off, select MORE > Turn off Ultra power saving mode.
To set the screen timeout to a shorter duration, select Settings icon > DEVICE tab > Display > Screen timeout > Select desired time.
To turn Location Services & GPS on or off, drag down from Notifcation bar > select Location.
To turn off auto-update apps select Play Store > Menu icon > Settings > Auto-update apps.
To turn off auto sync, swipe down from the Notification bar with 2 fingers, then select Sync.
Note: Remember to turn auto sync back on to allow apps to download new data like email, social media posts, etc.
If you are traveling and do not have access to mobile or Wi-Fi network, switch to Airplane mode.
Note: To turn Airplane mode on or off swipe down from the top of the screen with 2 fingers, then select Airplane mode.
To turn auto brightness on or off, select Settings > Display > Auto Brightness checkmark box.
