Use the Original charger to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your tablet. Note: The battery comes partially charged. When new, it takes approximately 2 hours to charge the device from 0-50% and 5.5 hours to charge from 0-100%. You can use the device while charging.
Insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the microUSB port at the side of the tablet.
Plug the Charger into a wall outlet. If necessary, connect the USB cable to the charger.
Alternatively, you can insert the USB end of the cable into a computer to charge. Note: Your device charges quicker using a power outlet than when connected to a laptop or other power source.
When the tablet is charging, the Charging icon will be displayed in the Notification bar. Note: To display or hide the battery percentage in the notification bar,from the home screen select Settings> GENERAL tab > Battery > Percentage on status bar.
When the tablet is fully charged, the Fully charged icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
This tablet has an Internet usage time of up to 9 hours and Standby time up to 79 days. Note: When the battery is weak and only a few minutes of operation remain, the tablet sounds a warning tone at regular intervals. In this condition, your device conserves its remaining battery power by dimming the screen.
