Cut and paste, use speech-to-text, and access keyboard settings.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. To access the keyboard, tap on a Text entry field.
    Note: For this demo, the Messaging keyboard was used.

  2. Tap the keyboard to type desired message.

  3. Tap the Shift key to capitalize the next letter entered.

  4. To enable Caps Lock, touch and hold the Shift key.

  5. Tap the Delete key to remove a character. Touch and hold the Delete key to clear the entire text field.

  6. Tap the Sym key to access symbols and numbers.

  7. Tap the ‘1/2’ key to view additional symbols.

  8. Tap the 'ABC' key to return to the alphabet.

  9. Tap the Emoticon icon to access emoticons.

  10. Tap the Emoticon theme icons to view additional emoticons.

  11. Tap the Emoticon icon to return to the alphabet.

  12. Tap and hold the Voice icon to view additional keyboard options.

  13. Tap the Settings icon to edit keyboard settings.

  14. Select Desired settings and tap the Back key to return to the keyboard.
    Note: To change keyboard settings like auto-correction and predictive text, go to Settings > GENERAL tab > Language and input > options under Keyboards and input methods.

  15. From the Keyboard options tap the Clipboard icon to insert recently copied text or screenshot images into your message.

  16. Tap the Desired text or image to insert into your image from the clipboard, tap the Back key to return to the keyboard.

  17. From the Keyboard options menu, tap the Voice icon to enable speech to text.

  18. To use Swype, touch and drag across Each letter of the desired word without removing the finger from the screen.

  19. If the resulting word does not match the desired word, tap the Desired word in the Suggestion bar.

  20. To copy and paste text, tap and hold the Desired text.

  21. Touch and drag the Text Selection handles to highlight all the desired text.

  22. Tap the Copy icon.

  23. In the desired pasting locationtap and hold the Desired text field to place the cursor.

  24. Tap the Paste icon.

  25. The copied text is pasted in the Desired location.

  26. From the Settings menu swipe to the Device tab and tap One-handed operation to view the One-handed phone use options.

  27. To enable Reduce screen size, tap the off/on button to enable or disable the mode.

  28. To enable One-handed input, tap the off/on button to enable or disable the mode.
