Reset device

Perform a soft, factory, and alternate master reset of the device.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. A master reset reverts the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps that are saved to the device. Data stored to an SD card (sold separately) will not be erased unless otherwise selected. It is recommended that you save (backup) important data to your SD card, SIM, cloud services (for applicable devices), or a computer before proceeding. See the 'Backup & restore' tutorials for more information. To power cycle your device, press and hold the Power button, then tap Power off > OK.

Note: If unable to reset the device using the above steps, try the alternate master reset method by first powering the device off. When powered off, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons together. When you see the LG logo, release the Power button then immediately press and hold the Power button again. Keep the Volume Down button held down during this process. Release both buttons when you see 'Factory data reset' at the top of the screen. To reset your phone, press the Volume Down button until 'Yes' is highlighted, and then press the Power button.
