Take a Picture or Video

Take and edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. ACCESS CAMERA: From the home screen, select the Camera app.
    Note: You can also access the camera app by dragging the Camera icon up from the lock screen. This device has a 12mp rear-facing camera and a 8mp front-facing camera. The video recorder can record 4k footage up to 30 frames per second.

  2. SWITCH BETWEEN FRONT/REAR CAMERA MODES: Select the Switch camera icon.

  3. ACCESS ADDITIONAL CAMERA MODES: Select MODE, then select the desired MODE.

  4. TAKE A PICTURE: Select the Capture icon. To focus, select the image where you would like to focus.
    Note: Alternately, the volume buttons functions as camera shutter buttons.

  5. ZOOM IN/OUT: Drag two fingers from the middle of the screen toward the outer edges of the screen to zoom in. Pinch two fingers from the outer edges of the screen to the middle of the screen to zoom out.

  6. SWITCH TO VIDEO CAMERA: Select MODE, then select Video. RECORD VIDEO: Select the Record icon.
    Note: Alternately, the Volume buttons function as a Start or Stop record button.

  7. TAKE A PICTURE WHILE RECORDING: Select the Capture icon. STOP RECORDING: Select the Stop icon.

  8. TAKE A SCREENSHOT: Press and hold the Volume-down button and Power/lock button simultaneously.
    Note: To access screenshots, select the Apps tray icon > Photos app > Screenshots.
