App Troubleshooting

Clear the app cache, force stop an app, check for updates, remove an app, and reinstall an app.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. CLEAR APP CACHE: Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon > Apps & Notifications > desired app > Storage > CLEAR CACHE.
    Note: You will be prompted to select DELETE to confirm.

  2. FORCE STOP AN APP: From the App info screen, select FORCE STOP. Select OK to confirm.

  3. CHECK FOR APP UPDATE: From the home screen, select the Play Store app > Menu icon > My apps & games > UPDATE.
    Note: Select UPDATE ALL to download all available app updates.

  4. REMOVE AN APP: From the desired app's Play Store screen, select UNINSTALL. Select OK to confirm.

  5. REINSTALL AN APP: From the desired app's Play Store screen, select INSTALL.
