Install and remove the SIM and battery.

If a SIM is not in the device the “No SIM card” message will display in the homescreen when the device is turned on.
The Sim Card tray is located under the back plate of the device. To take the plate off, loosen the screw at the bottom, back of the phone. Use the notch at the bottom of the device to take the plate off.
Remove the battery by lifting at the bottom of the battery.
Slide the flap of the SIM card holder in the direction of the arrow to unlock it and lif the flap.
Insert the SIM card into the flap making sure the gold contacts are facing toward you and the cut-off corner is at the top right.
Lower the flap of the SIM card holder and slide the flap in the direction of the arrow to lock it.
To insert a MicroSD memory card, slide the flap of the card holder to unlock it, lift the flap, insert the micro SD card with the gold terminals facing you, lower the flap of the card holder and slide the holder in the down direction to lock it.
Note: SD cards are sold separately. To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, tap Settings > More > Storage > Unmount SD Card.
Insert the Battery with the gold contacts touching.
Replace the Back cover, press along hte edges so no gaps are present, and then tighten the Screw.
