Signal & cellular data

View cellular network signal and turn your mobile data connection and data roaming on or off.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. To view your watch's mobile network status, from the watch face, swipe down from the top of the screen.

  2. The signal strength and data connection icon will be displayed.
    Note: To view the locations AT&T voice and data service can be used, see the AT&T Network coverage map.

  3. To view mobile network status in greater detail, from the watch face, swipe down from the top of the screen.

  4. Swipe from right to left four times, then tap Settings.

  5. Tap Settings.

  6. Swipe down and tap Cellular.

  7. Swipe down and tap SIM status.

  8. The 'Signal strength' and 'Network type' will be displayed.

  9. If airplane mode is on, the Airplane mode icon will be displayed on the watch face.
    Note: Your device will not send or receive any wireless signals while Airplane mode is active.

  10. To turn cellular data on or off, from the 'Cellular' screen, tap Cellular.

  11. To turn data roaming on or off, from the 'Cellular' screen, tap Data roaming.
    Note: Data roaming is off by default. Enabling Data roaming will allow the device to attach to foreign wireless network signals when available. International roaming charges will apply. This setting does not apply to voice access which requires additional provisioning for usage on international networks. To learn more, visit the AT&T International website.
