Tips and tricks to extend your battery performance.

  1. To view current battery level, from the watch face, swipe down from the top of the screen. The battery level will display next to the connection icon. Use the following tips to extend your battery life.

  2. Turn off 'Always-on screen'. Always-on screen allows the screen to dim itself without fully turning off your display, allowing you to leave running information on display.
    Note: From the watch screen, swipe down from the top of the screen, swipe right to left four times, then tap Settings > Always-on screen.

  3. Turn off Wi-Fi when it is not being used.
    Note: From the watch screen, swipe down from the top of the screen, swipe right to left four times, then tap Settings > Wi-Fi.

  4. Turn off Location when it is not being used.
    Note: From the watch screen, swipe down from the top of the screen, swipe right to left four times, then tap Settings > Location.

  5. Try using a different watch face. Some watch faces, especially those with a lot of animation, use up more battery life.
    Note: To change your watch face, touch and hold the watch face until it vibrates then release.  Swipe left and right to view available watch faces.  Tap a watch face to select.

  6. To see battery details on the phone, make sure your watch is connected then tap the Android Wear app > Settings icon > Watch battery.
    Note: Your battery information resets each time your watch is fully charged. The battery usage for apps and watch faces is an estimate and not guaranteed to be accurate.
