App troubleshooting

Use application manager to improve your app and device performance.

  1. To clear app cache, swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap the Settings icon.

  2. Tap Applications, then tap Application manager.

  3. Swipe to the ALL tab, then tap the Desired application.

  4. Tap Clear Cache.

  5. To stop an app, navigate to the Smart Manager, then tap RAM.
    Note: To access Smart Manager from the home screen tap Apps > Samsung > Smart Manager.

  6. To close an app, tap END next to that app.

  7. To close all apps, tap END ALL.

  8. To update an app, from the home screen, tap the Play Store icon.

  9. Tap the Menu tab.

  11. Tap on Desired application that requires an UPDATE.

  12. Tap UPDATE.

  14. To uninstall, tap UNINSTALL.

  16. To re-install, tap INSTALL.
