Use the Original charger to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your device. Note: The battery comes partially charged. A fully discharged battery requires up to seven hours of charge time. You can use the device while charging.
Insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the microUSB port at the base of the device.
Plug the Charger into a wall outlet. If necessary, connect the USB cable to the charger.
Alternatively, you can insert the USB end of the cable into a computer to charge. Note: Your device charges quicker using a power outlet then when connected to a laptop or other power source.
When the phone is charging, the Charging icon will be displayed in the Notification bar. Note: To display or hide the battery percentage in the notification bar, from the home screen tap Settings > Battery > Display battery percentage.
When the phone is fully charged, the Fully charged icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
This device has a Internet usage time of up to 8 hours and Standby time up to 14 days. Note: When the battery is weak and only a few minutes of operation remain, the device sounds a warning tone at regular intervals. In this condition, your device conserves its remaining battery power by dimming the screen.
