Software Version
Determine your current device software version and check for updates.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- To view the current software version and check for updates, swipe in from the right edge of the Start screen, then tap Settings.
- Tap Change PC settings.
- To view the current OS version, from the "PC settings" screen, tap PC and devices.
- Tap PC info, and you will now be able to view which version of Windows your device is running.
- To update your phone?s OS, from the Start screen, swipe from right to left to access the Charm bar, then tap Settings.
- Tap Change PC settings.
- From the "PC settings" screen, tap Update and recovery.
- Tap Windows update.
- Tap Install.
- Tap Restart now.
