View & Manage Data

Access Usage Manager to view data usage, set data limits, and see the apps using the most data.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
    Note: To check your current month's data usage dial *data# (*3282#) on your mobile phone to receive a text message with the current bill cycle's usage.

  2. Tap the Settings icon.

  4. Data used for the current time frame will be displayed.

  5. To set a limit on the amount of data used, tap the Set cellular data limit toggle.

  6. Tap OK.

  7. Touch and drag the Limit tab up or down the graph to limit the amount of data able to be used.
    Note: When the mobile data limit is active and has been reached, the mobile data block will remain in effect until mobile data is manually re-enabled on the device, the limit threshold is changed to a higher value, or a new data usage cycle begins. If you set data usage limits on your device, they do not communicate with AT&T systems. You will still receive AT&T system generated notifications as you approach your data limits.

  8. To change the bill cycle, tap the Current cycle dates.

  9. Tap Change cycle…

  10. Tap and scroll to the Usage cycle reset date you prefer each month.

  11. Tap Set.

  12. To view App usage, scroll down from Data usage.
