Take a Picture or Video

Take a screenshot, edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO

From the home screen, tap the Camera icon.
Tap the Camera icon to take a picture.
Tap the Camcorder icon to begin recording.
To take a still picture while recording video, tap the Camera icon.
To pause while recording video, tap the Pause icon.
To resume recording video, press the Record icon.
Tap the Stop icon to end and save the recording.
To view the recorded video, tap the Preview icon.
To switch between front and rear-facing cameras, tap the Switch Camera icon.
To access camera settings, tap the Settings icon.
To use different shooting modes, tap Fun.
To use manual camera controls such as a grid, white balance, ISO, and exposure, tap Manual.
To Zoom in, pinch and expand.
To Zoom out, pinch and shrink.
The ZTE Maven has a 5MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The video recorder is 720p.
Note: To take a screenshot, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time, until you hear the camera shutter and the screen flash. To view the captured screenshot open the Gallery or Photos app.
