1. From the home screen, swipe down on the Notifications bar with two fingers.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap About phone.
   
4. The current software version is listed under Android Version.
   
5. To check for an available software update, tap the Back key.
   
6. Scroll to, then tap AT&T Software Update.
   
7. Tap Check for updates.
   Note: To see if there is an update available for your device, check att.com/software updates.
   
8. If an update is available follow the on-screen instructions to perform the update. Otherwise, tap OK.
   Note: While an update is downloading the Software update icon will be displayed in the status bar.
