Add your Google account to sync Gmail, Chrome, YouTube, Google Maps, and more.

- Registering a Google account allows you to download and purchase content in the Google Play Store, access email through the Gmail application, receive personalized Google Search results, and have your account automatically logged in for all other Google-based services on your device
- From the home screen, tap Apps.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to "USER AND BACKUP", then tap Accounts.
- Tap Add account.
- Tap Google.
- Tap the Email field.
Note: If you need a Google account, tap New and follow the on-screen prompts, or visit https://accounts.google.com/signup.
- Enter the desired email address, then tap NEXT.
- Enter the required password, then tap NEXT.
Note: To reset your password, tap Forgot password?, then follow the prompts.
- Tap ACCEPT.
- Adjust the Google services as desired, then tap NEXT.
- Your Google account is set up and ready for use.
