INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
T9 ("Text on 9 keys") allows words to be entered by a single keypress for each letter, as opposed to the multi-tap approach used in conventional mobile phone text entry, in which several letters are associated with each key, and selecting one letter often requires multiple keypresses. It combines the groups of letters on each phone key with a dictionary of words.
From a text enabled screen, press the desired key on the alphanumeric keypad to input the character.
Pressing a key once inputs the first character assigned to the key.
Pressing a key multiple times in succession will switch in between different characters assigned to the key.
Press the * (asterisk) key to toggle between the input types.
Press the # key to access symbols.
Press the 0 key once to enter a space.
Press the Back key to delete text.
To access text entry settings, press the Left Soft key.
